ITO-PAGEV COLLABORATION ORGANIZED THE 'OCS SEMINAR ON GRANULAR MICROPLASTIC PREVENTION CERTIFICATION DOCUMENT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EU GREEN DEAL'.
It is known that the pollution in the oceans and seas as a result of industrialisation activities is increasing day by day and adversely affects marine life, and especially in recent times, microplastics and the prevention of the release of these plastics into nature have become a vital issue. Operation Clean Sweep initiative has been launched worldwide in the plastics industry in order to prevent the loss and leakage of granules during the production, transport and production of granules, to prevent marine pollution, which is a global environmental problem, and to prevent the mixing of plastic raw materials on land into the seas.
With this initiative, it is known that awareness, training and inspection services are provided in order to prevent plastic raw material granules from posing a danger to life in the seas. It is important for companies operating in the plastics sector to have OCS Environmental Certificate with International Validity in order to prevent granule losses and to prevent environmental pollution in the seas.
Within this framework, "Granular Microplastic Prevention Certificate Certificate OCS Seminar within the Framework of the EU Green Deal" organised in cooperation with ITO and PAGEV was held at the ITO Assembly Hall.
