CERTILOOP Invited to Dubai International Food Safety Conference

The 19th Dubai International Food Safety Conference (DIFSC), hosted by the Dubai Municipality, brought together public authorities, industry representatives, and international experts in the fields of food safety, packaging, recycling, and regulatory compliance. CERTILOOP attended the conference as an official guest of the Dubai Municipality, participating to strengthen collaborations in recycling certification and traceability with Gulf countries.

The main purpose of CERTILOOP’s invitation was to evaluate certification services that can address the growing needs of Gulf countries regarding traceability and international regulatory compliance, particularly for recycled plastics in food contact applications, and to enhance regional partnerships. At the event, CERTILOOP shared its technical expertise and internationally recognized certification programs with relevant authorities and industry stakeholders in the Gulf region.

During the conference, presentations highlighted the importance of traceability for recycled plastics in food contact applications, the need for reliable certification across the supply chain, and EU-compliant certification approaches. CERTILOOP’s program, one of only two globally accredited programs offering traceability certification based on EN 15343 and ISO 22095, was emphasized as a critical capability for the developing regulatory frameworks and international trade requirements in Gulf countries.

The conference also showcased examples of CERTILOOP providing certification services to companies exporting to Europe from the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries. In line with increasing regulatory expectations in food safety, packaging, and recycling, CERTILOOP aims to expand its certification and traceability services for the Gulf region.

The Dubai International Food Safety Conference served as an important platform for CERTILOOP to develop sustainable and long-term collaborations with Gulf countries while reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of internationally recognized certification services across Europe, the Middle East, and the Gulf region.
